News - Prelature of Ayaviri - Around 30 young people participate in the "Come and See" Vocational Gathering

Ayaviri, November 28 - Around thirty youth from the Prelatures of Ayaviri and Juli participated in the first Vocational gathering of this year in the San Jose pre-seminary. The gathering began on Thursday November 23rd and lasted four days. The participants, who were discerning whether they have a priestly vocation, shared intense moments of reflection about different topics such as the vocation, friendship, seminary life, among others.

Discovering the call of God requires an attitude on the part of the young people of interior openness and much generosity. This is why they had periods of dialogue, prayer and above all Eucharistic celebration. Christian life is a joyful life and the young men demonstrated this with their active participation in the games, hikes, songs, theatre and movies, they made the gathering a pleasant, positive and illuminating experience.

To conclude the activity the participants had a closing Mass in the Solemnity of "Christ the King of the Universe" in which they gave thanks to the Lord for all the blessings received throughout the four days.
