Ayaviri, December 18. This Friday 15 ended with great success the Integral Health Campaign carried out by a group of specialists from the Hospital of the Child, with the cooperation of the medical personnel of the city of Ayaviri. More than 7000 attentions took place for children and teenagers from Ayaviri and surrounding areas. Also, 120 children benefited with specialized chirurgical procedures.
This campaign was carried out thanks to the sponsorship of Bishop Kay Martin Schmalhausen and the support of Armonizar, an association of Christian Life Movement. The General Coordinator of the Campaign, Dr. Carlos Paz Soldan, showed his satisfaction for the great reception of the campaign by the population and for the work of his colleagues. This activity has benefited thousands of children from low economical resources with specialized medical attention and delivery of medicines, as well as minor surgeries.
The population was most thankful to the campaign, and asked for it to be repeated in the future, because they could receive medical attention from specialists, which are not present in this region of the South of Peru.
