Communiqué from the Peruvian Bishops Conference
The bishops of Peru, brought together for the 89th General Assembly, want to express the following the general public.
1. Our most forceful rejection of the offences made from a social means of communication on Thursday, January 25, against the bishops of the Prelatures of Ayaviri and Juli.
2. To show our adhesion and solidarity for them and, in the same way, our backing for the pastoral work they continue doing in their respective and particular Churches.
3. Likewise, we want to show our unity, expressed in the firm communion that animates us, and our commitment to keep working for the Evangelization of Peru and the well-being of all our people, especially for the poor and those most in need.
